About Terri Moses

A Life of Freedom is Possible

Terri was born and raised in Southern Kentucky. She did not grow up in a Christian family but was able to attend a local Baptist church throughout her childhood. It was at this church that she learned about Jesus. As a teen, Terri met her now husband, Daniel. After high school, Terri moved to Indiana, and the couple soon wed and began their life together. The couple became a part of Daniel's family church, which followed Pentecostal beliefs. The couple soon began working with kids and teens. Time would pass, and the couple would serve in various churches as kids ministers, youth pastors, associate pastors, and founding pastors of a church plant.

Terri has always enjoyed teaching and using life experiences to inspire and encourage others. The journey into motherhood was not easy, as the couple had infertility issues. Their first pregnancy was a joyous occasion that was short-lived due to miscarriage. The couple would go on to give birth to a premature daughter and, two years later, another daughter who arrived full-term but with the umbilical cord around her neck; thankfully, she was delivered quickly and is now a young adult. Nine years passed, and the couple gave birth to their third daughter, Charity; she was with the family for 99 days before passing as she had complications from a Chromosome disorder known as Trisomy 18 or Edwards Syndrome. Two years later, the couple welcomed their first son into the world.

Terri has endured many trials and tribulations. She will tell you that one of the hardest things about being a pastor's wife is the ability to distinguish our individual calling and not toss it to the side. Through everything, Terri keeps her heart centered on the goodness of God and what the scriptures teach us. As a result of her time with Charity and weeks spent in the NICU, she enrolled in Indiana Wesleyan University to work on her education and one day serve as a chaplain in local hospitals. She attends Wesley Seminary to finish her M.Div. and is continually open to what God wants her to do.

Terri enjoys writing and sharing from the depths of her heart; she continues to serve alongside her husband in pastoral leadership, be present for her children, work part-time as an administrative assistant, and aspires to write books in the future about her own "Pilgrim's Progress." She will admit that she is far from perfect and continually walks in her journey with the Lord. She shares her love for writing to bring hope to others, especially concerning her testimonies. Terri chooses to fall under a non-denominational faith category as she continually learns.
